Krysten Ritter's career has been given a boost by Tim Burton after the eccentric director cast her in his new movie Big Eyes.

The actress' U.S. sitcom Don't Trust The B---- In Apartment 23 was dropped by bosses at America's ABC network earlier this year (13), but she has now landed her dream role in the upcoming biographical drama.
