The Muppets Hit The Red Carpet For The Premiere Of Their Latest Film, 'Muppets Most Wanted'

The stars were out for the premiere of Muppets Most Wanted, which hits theaters Friday, March 21.

Stars Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais and Ty Burrell were joined at the premiere by the Muppets themselves, including Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Sweetums, Walter, Scooter, Gonzo and Animal, who all arrived in a slick black limo.

"These guys have been icons since the '70s," Burrell told USA Today. "I'm very happy to play second fiddle to the Muppets."

"If a movie premiere isn't absurd enough already, then nothing is more absurd than doing it all with Muppets," Burrell added.

Disney released two brand new full-length trailers for next Spring's "Muppets Most Wanted" on Wednesday, revealing that the whole Muppet gang will be hitting the road for a world tour -- but ultimately finding themselves at the center of an international crime investigation.

It all starts when an international criminal named Constantine, who bears a very striking resemblance Kermit the Frog, sets up the Muppet leader and takes his place while Kermit is thrown into a German prison for Constantine's crimes.

'Modern Family' Cast Negotiates New Contracts For More Money

"Modern Family" castmembers Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet, Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell reached a deal on Friday to end a legal dispute over their contracts.

On Tuesday, the actors filed suit against 20th Century Fox TV executives in a bid to have their prior contracts declared null and void, allowing them to renegotiate fresh agreements with increased salaries.

The cast claimed their longterm deals were in violation of California labor laws, which state that personal service contracts can last no longer than seven years.

Production Halted On Set Of 'Modern Family' Over Contract Disputes

Recent contract disputes have postponed production of hit ABC sitcom Modern Family after stars Sofia Vergara, Julie Bowen Ty Burrell Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Eric Stonestreet all filed suit against producers disputing the terms of their current contracts.

The stars claim that their deals with 20th Century Fox TV are invalid as they violate California labor laws. State regulations say that personal service contracts can't last more than seven years.

Actor Ty Burrell Adopts A Second Daughter

Modern Family star Ty Burrell and his wife Holly have adopted a second baby girl.

The actor's representative broke the news to People.com on Monday, almost two years to the day since the Burrells revealed they had adopted daughter Frances.

Further details about the new addition to the family have not been released.

The actor, 44, has previously credited Frances with bringing him closer to his wife, saying, "There's lots of problem solving in any marriage, but when you have this collective goal that is a human being, it's an inspiring rally point."

The couple wed in 2000.
