Born: December 11, 1962

Actor Ben Browder was born on December 11, 1962, in Memphis, Tenn. Ben attended Myers Park High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, and received a BS in psychology at Furman University in Greenville, SC. He also studied drama at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, where he met his wife actress Francesca Buller. He first became publicly known for his role as John Crichton on the Sci-Fi television series "Farscape." His movie credits include roles in the films "Memphis Belle," "A Kiss Before Dying" and "Nevada" and as Sam Brody on the television drama series "Party Of Five." He is best known for his role as Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell on the Sci-Fi action adventure series "Stargate Sg-1."
