Janet Jackson And Actor Todd Bridges Remember Conrad Bain
Janet Jackson and actor Todd Bridges have paid tribute to their late Diff'rent Strokes co-star Conrad Bain following his death on Monday.
 
The actor, who played beloved patriarch Phillip Drummond in the hit comedy, passed away in California just weeks before his 90th birthday.
 
After hearing of his death, Jackson, who starred in the show between 1981 and 1982 before her music career took off, took to Twitter.com to remember the popular actor.

Actor Todd Bridges has split from his wife of 14 years. The Diff'rent Strokes star and his partner Dori Bridges, who share 13-year-old son Spencir, have parted ways after growing apart.

Bridges announced the separation on his Twitter.com page late on Friday, and insists the former couple is remaining friendly for the sake of its son.

In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "Im going to beat the media to this me and my wife (are) divorcing our lives are going different directions (sic)... we remain good friends.

Angry Todd Bridges fired off at the person who leaked death photos of his "Diff'rent Strokes" co-star Gary Coleman.

He ranted, "I hope someone burns in hell for this one."

Prior to Gary's death, Todd was shunned by his co-star. But Todd refused to take the snub personally because the diminutive star was "very mad at the world."

Todd told Larry King in May, "Gary Coleman, you know, I really love Gary. But he is suffering from just the whole thing of physical, you know - health-wise, he's not great. And he's very mad at the world. And I understand that."

Doctors gave actor Gary Coleman just one year to live after he underwent major heart surgery last year, according to his ex-wife Shannon Price.

The "Diff'rent Strokes" star died last month after his former wife gave doctors permission to switch off his life support system, which was keeping him alive in a comatose state.

Price is still coming to terms with the actor's death, but admits she knew her life with him would be short after the former child star had heart surgery to replace his aortic valve.

Gary Coleman's funeral has been canceled as a custody battle over his remains wages on between the late actor's ex-wife and his estranged parents.

The Diff'rent Strokes star was scheduled to be buried on either Friday or Saturday - but now the funeral service is on hold. Coleman's estranged parents have objected to plans by their son's ex-wife, Shannon Price, to bury the star in Sandy, Utah - and they want to take his remains home to Illinois.
