Veteran actor Eric Braeden has been honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The 66-year-old is best known for his long-running role as ruthless Victor Newman on popular TV soap The Young and the Restless, and he was awarded an Emmy for his part in the show in 1998.

The Young And The Restless will feature a story promoting epilepsy awareness when longtime character Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy in an episode to be broadcast Monday, July 17, on CBS.
