NEW YORK (AP) - Spending six days with Jack Bauer has not only entertained us, but also taught us a lot.

For reasons that defy logic, the powers that be from 24 have decided to inform fans of a huge spoiler prior to the new season (see clip below.) Most likely they did this in an effort to bring back the pissed-off fans (and there are many) for the seventh season.

The uninterrupted season of 24 will clock in for a special two-hour event Monday, Feb. 12 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. In the special two-hour event, Day Six: 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M./Day Six: 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M., the nation continues to reel from the terrorist attacks and Agent Bauer battles unthinkable circumstances.

As the season six premiere rapidly approaches, Rick Schroder joins the award-winning cast of 24. The clock for “Day Six” starts ticking with a highly anticipated two-night, four-hour television event Sunday, Jan. 14 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Monday, Jan. 15 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. The show’s regular time period premiere is Monday, Jan. 22 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).
