Matt Bomer And Tim DeKay Talk 'White Collar' Finale: 'Do Not Walk Away'

Matt Bomer And Tim DeKay Talk 'White Collar' Finale: 'Do Not Wal
Tonight's conclusion of White Collar means that we also have to bid farewell to one of TV's best duos: Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay.

In addition to making a dynamic team as con man Neal Caffrey and his FBI minder Peter Burke on the USA drama, they are also a fantastic partnership off-screen, showing what magic can be made when two hard-working actors come together to form one great unit.

We spoke to Matt and Tim on Monday to ask them why they think they've worked so well together - and what their own opinions were about White Collar's ultimate ending.

Naturally, hints about tonight's last ep...

'White Collar' Recap: 'Whack-A-Mole' - Almost To The End

December 12th, 2014 8:11am EST
'White Collar' Recap And Review: 'Whack-A-Mole' - Almost To The
Just two episodes remain for White Collar, so it's time to get down to business - the business of bringing down the Pink Panthers, that is. Things ramp up massively in "Whack-A-Mole," which contains a number of show staples - like Neal hiding things and bad guys being bad - en route to preparing the audience for the finish line.

Picking up right where last week's episode ended, Neal tries to placate Panthers boss Woodford (Gavin Lee), who's convinced that Neal is the only person not potentially betraying him. Woodford is determined to find the mole himself, or put the crew's master plan to...

'White Collar' Recap And Review: 'All's Fair' - The Former Mrs.
We're now officially into the second half of the last season of White Collar. Two weeks from tonight, it'll be curtains for Neal Caffrey, Peter Burke and the whole team. But before they go, it's time for one last Mozzie episode, which is pretty on the nose but also serves to remind us that even he has changed since we first met him.

It's too quiet for Neal's taste, and Peter's worried that the Pink Panthers may have caught on to him. Neal's worried about a certain empty shipping container. They both show up at the FBI office, where everyone else is still working on the Exodus algorithm and...

Who Are TV's Sexiest Men?

November 21st, 2014 1:00pm EST
Matt Bomer
People magazine rightfully declared Aussie-born actor Chris Hemsworth as "The Sexiest Man Alive." The actor, who has impressive bulked up for roles in "Marvel's The Avengers" and Thor 2: The Dark World, has definitely earned the title. But this blogger, who loves all things television, couldn't help but wonder: who television's sexiest men alive? Here are my top 10 picks in no particular order.

White Collar's Matt Bomer
While "White Collar" may be shuffling off to that great TV vault in the sky, star Matt Bomer's career is just beginning its stratospheric rise, thanks in part to his...

'White Collar' Recap: 'Return To Sender' - Guess Who's Back?

'White Collar' Recap And Review: 'Return To Sender' - Guess Who'
After returning in solid form last week, White Collar continues its final season and the story of Neal Caffrey infiltrating the Pink Panthers. And because this is the final season, the show has found room for one of its favorite recurring bad guys to make one last appearance. The result is a satisfying cocktail of banter and quirky characterization that continues to set the table for bigger things down the line.

Neal shows up at the Burke residence armed with coffee and surprised that Elizabeth has moved back to New York, which is probably a good thing because Peter's going through a fix-e...

Jeff Eastin Previews The Final Season Of 'White Collar'
New York's classiest crime show is about to come to an end. Tonight is the premiere of White Collar, kicking off the USA hit's sixth and final season. To help us say goodbye to Neal Caffrey, Peter Burke and the gang, we recruited creator and showrunner Jeff Eastin, who spoke with us about the decision to end the series and how things have changed since its premiere five years ago.

What made this the right time to wrap things up? "You can probably guess it was never the creator's idea to wind it down," he laughed. "For USA, I've got another show on their network, and I think the network's s...

Short List Of Replacements For Charlie Hunnam In 'Fifty Shades' Includes Francois Arnaud And Jamie Dornan

Charlie Hunnam
With Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam out of Fifty Shades of Grey, numerous names have come up as possible replacements to play the dominant and sadistic Christian Grey.

Hunnam pulled out of the role just weeks before the planned start of filming, with reps for Universal Pictures releasing a statement that he quit because his "intense television schedule" conflicted with his preparations for the project.

Insiders have claimed that an unknown star would be cast into the role to avoid any fallout, but several other names have been tied to the part.

First up is Aaron Taylor-Johnson. John...

BFTV recently connected with Tim and Matt for a chat in which they talked to us about how things have changed and the many characters who will come into play during Season 5.

Australian pop sensation Gotye has clarified critical remarks he made about the cover of his hit song Somebody That I Used To Know on TV show Glee, insisting his comments were taken out of context.

The chart-topping track was given the Glee treatment by actors Darren Criss and Matt Bomer during a recent episode of the hit TV musical series, but reports suggested the singer, real name Wouter De Backer, was left unimpressed by their efforts.

Australian music sensation Gotye has taken a swipe at Glee's version of his huge hit Somebody That I Used To Know, insisting the cast's rendition sounds "dinky and wrong."

The pop star, real name Wouter De Backer, became the first Aussie act to reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100 since Savage Garden hit Number One with I Knew I Loved You in 2000.

His rise to the top of the charts was helped by a Glee cover of the song, performed by Darren Criss and Matt Bomer on the hit TV musical series earlier this month.

Nevertheless, despite their version giving his track a boost Stateside, Goty...

The 10 Television Characters I Still Miss

There are lots of TV shows I miss. But then there are the characters: individual performances so good they came alive, and I still wonder about them. It's one thing to mourn a show for awhile, another to ask yourself years later, "Whatever happened to...?" as if that person was real.

Here are ten TV characters that I still think about, in (almost) chronological order of their departures.

1. Jennifer Sampson in Line of Fire, as played by Julie Ann Emery (2003)

I'm putting this one first because this is the character that gave me the idea for this piece. Sometimes I feel like I was the o...

There's a whole White Collar promo about Matt Bomer. But it would be criminal to overlook his co-star Tim DeKay, who's equally brilliant and just as important to the show's success.

His character, Special Agent Peter Burke, couldn't be more solid. Peter has a successful job at the FBI and a stable marriage to Elizabeth (Tiffani Thiessen). The role is a perfect fit for Tim, who's just as reliable as his character. Two Jews' Review 'In Time' - Both Agree This Sci-Fi Thriller Is A Waste Of Time (Video)

Two Jews On Flim - By Joan Alperin-Schwartz: 'In Time' is a Sci-Fi thriller written, directed and produced by Andrew Niccol (Gattaca), maybe that's the problem. You know what they say about wearing too many hats.

Okay, when the film begins, we discover that we are now in the future....A future where you stop aging at 25 (guess that would put a big dent in the Botox industry). Your mother, sister, grandmother, grandfather etc, all look 25 so it's hard to tell if you're hitting on someone's mother or daughter. You get the idea.

After 25, you get one free year to live. After that, you have t...

Deja vu is the theme of this week's White Collar, and it works - though perhaps not as well as it could have.

When the FBI starts tracking another wily con artist, Scott Rivers (Hutch Dano), everything feels a little familiar - but that's the point. For the characters, and for the audience, it's impossible not to hold the mirror up and draw parallels between Scott's present and Neal's past. Things get complicated when there's an attempt on Scott's life early on, making him equal parts criminal and victim. It's a great concept for an episode, one rife with opportunities for characte...

I fell in love with White Collar almost right out of the gate. Ever since I saw Matt Bomer in ABC's Traveler, I knew he was going to be a star someday, and the show found a perfect match for him in veteran actor Tim DeKay. There was smart writing that balanced a case of the week with character development and an ongoing mythology, moving along each in equal measures. Great acting serviced well by strong writing - we...
