8 Remarkable Comedians In Honor Of National Humor Month
April is National Humor Month, so I've pulled together a list of my favorite comedians. Here are eight people who make me laugh...who would be on your list?
1. Adam Ferrara
I genuinely consider Adam Ferrara to be the funniest human being on the planet Earth, and that's because he has performed a miracle: my mother thinks he's funny. My mother doesn't think anything is funny, but she likes him. My father believes we should fly Air Jamaica on the next family vacation. I, meanwhile, laughed so hard during his February set at the Hollywood Improv that my stomach hurt.

'Top Gear' (US) Recap: 'Dangerous Cars' (3.03)
In this week's Top Gear, Adam, Tanner and Rutledge take their lives in their own hands again, driving three allegedly dangerous cars: the Ford Pinto, Suzuki Samurai, and Chevy Corvair.
Rutledge gets the potentially flaming Corvair, while Adam gets a chance to blow himself up in the Pinto, and Tanner has to drive the unturnable Samurai, all of them en route to (what else?) a demolition derby. "I don't feel like there's a huge amount of inherent danger in the car," Rutledge says, while Adam agrees "There's good and bad in everything in life." At least our guys are optimistic in the ...

Spotlight On Jon Stewart
If someone said years ago that Jon Stuart Leibowitz would become one of the respected and beloved comedians in the world, he would have been the first person to start laughing. After all, he was "that dude" from movies like "Half Baked," "The Faculty," and "Playing by Heart." He changed his name in Hollywood to Jon Stewart, and "The Jon Stewart Show" was canceled after a very short life span. He was a somewhat successful stand up comedian, and hosted "Short Attention Span Theater" on Comedy Central and an MTV show called "You Wrote It, You Watch It." Neither of which did particularly well. ...

Bob Saget's Dirty 'Farce of the Penguins' Needed Editing
Controversial director Bob Saget was so fearful of going overboard with his risqué spoof "Farce Of The Penguins," he was forced back into the editing room. The cheeky satire of award-winning documentary March Of The Penguins, due for release later this year, was so dirty Saget was convinced the film would be refused a cinema release.
Lewis Black, who provides a penguin voice in the mockumentary, tells MTV, "Bob kind of toned down some of it. The first version we did was so insane that we would have been arrested! It's not just completely filthy, but it's certainly a funky little movie...

Christina Applegate Joins 'Farce of the Penguins'
Farce Of The Penguins, Bob Saget's irreverent spoof of wildlife adventures, has found its female lead with Christina Applegate joining Saget as the voice of "Melissa," his romantic foil. Lewis Black, Mo'Nique and Tracy Morgan have the other leading roles, with Samuel L. Jackson serving as his film's narrator.
Saget says, "Having such a talented comedic actress as Christina Applegate play the part of 'Melissa' is another gift for this crazy film. My character, 'Carl,' has been dreaming his entire life to meet a penguin as grounded and sexually compatible as 'Melissa'/Christina. She and ...
