Nate Berkus To Tie The Knot
Reality TV personality and interior design expert Nate Berkus is set to wed boyfriend of nearly a year Jeremiah Brent.
Berkus popped the question to his boyfriend on Monday atop the famed ancient Inca site Machu Picchu in Peru during a vacation with friends. A representative confirmed the news to UsWeekly.com.
Berkus' previous partner, Fernando Bengoechea, was killed in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami while the couple was on holiday in Sri Lanka.
The happy news comes just two months after reports that they are preparing to become parents.

TV star Nate Berkus has been hospitalized with appendicitis and is expected to undergo emergency surgery.
The interior design guru, who hosts The Nate Berkus Show and is a regular contributor on Oprah Winfrey's program, was taken ill on Tuesday and admitted to a medical facility, where doctors diagnosed him with the painful condition.
A representative for his show tells People.com, "He was on the Today show this morning and he wasn't feeling well. He powered through and then went straight to the hospital after that and they learned he had appendicitis."
