Law & Order: SVU star Richard Belzer has defended himself after throwing a Nazi salute at a TV festival in Monaco on Tuesday.
The actor baffled fans at the Monte Carlo event with his bizarre antics, striking a controversial pose by holding two fingers above his lips, seemingly to mimic Nazi leader Adolf Hitler. He then bent over on the red carpet and showed photographers his behind.

"Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star Richard Belzer has blasted a woman who accused him of choking her, insisting she was seeking attention and trying to "embarrass a famous person."
Milan Agnew, an employee at an Apple store in New York's Upper West Side, alleges Belzer, 65, entered the shop on Wednesday, shook and choked her, yelling, "I need help!" Agnew immediately called police and filed a harassment complaint.
