Tom Petty Receives Golden Heart Award
Rocker Tom Petty was honored with an award at a star-studded gala in California on Monday in recognition of his charity work for the homeless.
The Free Fallin' hit-maker and his wife Dana were handed the Golden Heart Award for their commitment to The Midnight Mission, an organization which provides counseling, education, food and shelter for the disadvantaged in Los Angeles.
Tom and Dana are generous supporters of The Midnight Mission and in 2008, the rocker held a concert to benefit the charity.
