October 2nd, 2013 11:20am EDT
Tilda Swinton
'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Silver Chair' will be adapted for the big screen.
The fourth book in the children's fantasy series written by C.S. Lewis will finally go into production - more than three years after the release of 'The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader'.
The C.S. Lewis Company has struck a deal with Hollywood producer Mark Gordon to produce the fourth film in the franchise, which appeared to have hit a roadblock following disappointing box office receipts for the third movie.
Gordon said in a statement: "Like many readers, both young and old, I am a huge f...

Several celebrities attended the "Pacific Rim" premiere in Hollywood on Tuesday. Rinko Kikuchi, above, wore a slinky black embroidered dress that showed off her legs.

Not familiar with the Japanese actress? She received Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations for her role in the 2006 film "Babel."

"Sons of Anarchy" star Charlie Hunnam also attended the premiere, looking dapper in a black suit with his hair slicked back and a short beard.

During a press tour for the film, the actor admitted he smacked Kikuchi's stuntwoman in the face during a fight scene, giving her a black eye three d...

Movie Review: 'The Words' -- Three Stories, One Powerful Film

September 6th, 2012 3:07pm EDT
The Words
'The Words' written and directed by Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal (co-wrote story for 'Tron-Legacy') is a movie within a movie within a movie.

Yes, it does sound confusing and convoluted, but it's really a very compelling and entertaining film.

When 'The Words' begin, we meet celebrated novelist, Clay Hammond (Dennis Quaid). He's standing before a crowd of fans, including grad student, Daniella (Oliva Wilde) reading excerpts from his bestselling novel, entitled, 'The Word'.

As Clay continues to read out loud, the story comes to life and we meet the characters from his book, starting ...

This Week's Movie Buzz: See It, Rent It, Or Skip It?

May 18th, 2009 9:25am EDT
Terminator Salvation
The first three weeks of the summer movie season started out a bit slow, but from here the momentum really starts to build. There's a spike in the number of movies premiering with six coming out this week, two of which are sequels. One of those sequels is a movie I've been anticipating since I heard it was in development. Hint: it involves giant robots, and it's not "Transformers 2."

Opening in cinemas this week are "Terminator Salvation," "Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian," "Dance Flick," "Easy Virtue," "The Girlfriend Experience," and "The Boys: The Sherman Brothers...

Jessica Biel Faked It For 'Easy Virtue'

May 12th, 2009 9:00am EDT
Easy Virtue
Jessica Biel was secretly glad to learn she couldn't ride a motorcycle in a movie fox hunt on the set of Easy Virtue because she detests bloodsports.

Insurance bosses refused to allow the actress to actually ride in the hoax hunt - alongside horses and hounds - and so she had to ride a stationary bike for her close-ups as her double took off across rural England.

Biel reveals, "We faked it. I was shot in close-up sitting on a stationary bike and then they had a double ride. They didn't get the insurance for me to ride the bike, which happens all the time. I never really get to do ...
