By all accounts a consummate wiseacre and goofball, actor Ben Bailey took a back door into the realm of entertainment via a phone-answering job at the famed Comedy Store in the City of Angels. Impromptu interactions with the standup comics at that venue led one of the comedians to encourage Bailey to go on-stage with his own behind-the-mike act. The experience imparted in Bailey a deep-seated love of standup comedy, and led to years of gigs at venues around the world and on television. His resumé includes appearances on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn, and innumerable other programs.
