Biography:
Born February 11, 1909 - Boxing champ Max Baer made his film acting bow in The Prizefighter and the Lady (1933). This MGM "special" co-starred Baer with Walter Huston and Myrna Loy--not to mention his fellow pugilists Jack Dempsey, Primo Carnera, Jesse Willard, Jim Jeffries and Stranger Lewis.
