| I grew up watching Gene Autry, as well as Roy Rogers, on TV and long for those days when the stars we looked up to, like Gene & Roy, had values of substance & merit. We emulated them, wanted to be them and our parents didn't have a thing to worry about in our doing this. Our country would be better than it is today if the children of this time could look up to the stars and their parents would not have to worry about who the children admired. | ||

| I grew up listening and watching Gene Autry. I feel like if we had more actors today with his values, the children in our country would have someone to really look up to. I had an aunt by marrage dated Mr. Autry when they were young and before he was making movies. Aunt Madge would tell about the barn dance they went to. I believe if they had married, the children in this family would have had a roll model that we could all have been very proud of. I watched the 100 hours, a couple of weeks ago, and I didn't miss a one, recorded the ones when i was alseep. I am watching one right now. Loaded pistols, It is so hard to find clean movies today. God Bless to his lovely wife. | ||
