Andy And Lana Wachowski's Sci-Fi Series 'Sense8' To Hit Netflix
Netflix has a brand new series premiering on Friday that is set to mess with viewers minds.

Sense8, which stars Naveen Andrews and Daryl Hannah is the latest creation of executive producers Andy and Lana Wachowski, and it centers on eight characters living in different places around the globe who all become connected physchically after experiencing the same "violent vision."

The eight main characters, called Sensates, can all communicate directly with each other and appear together in the same place at the same time despite being thousands of miles away.

Co-creator Lana Wachowski told US...

Infamous Celebrity Love Children

5/19/2011 1:00pm EDT
Liv Tyler
With the news of Arnold Schwarzenegger's love child, it's a fine time to look back at some of the other infamous children fathered out of wedlock by today's biggest stars.

Liv Tyler: For the first nine years of her life, Liv was told she was the daughter of Todd Rundgren by her mother, Bebe Buell. However, a meeting with Steven Tyler's other daughter Mia revealed the truth. In 1991, Liv gave herself her father's last name - she was previously known as Liv Rundgren.

Angel Iris Murphy Brown: It was a shock when Melanie Brown stepped forward and said she was pregnant with Eddie Murphy's ch...

Anyone with Hurley's Lost numbers would have won a whopping $150.

According to Lost creator Damon Lindelof, 9,078 people "played Hurley's numbers."

Enigmatic Final Scene Of 'LOST' Added By Network - Not Producers

5/27/2010 11:05pm EDT
The final scene shown during ABC's Sunday night broadcast of the "LOST" series finale was added to the show by the network - not executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse - according to a report on Entertainment

The last images of Oceanic Flight 815 wreckage strewn across the beach with only the soothing sound of crashing waves in the distance quickly became one of the show's biggest mysteries.

But a spokesman for ABC told the L.A. Times, "The images shown during the end credits of the 'Lost' finale, which included shots of Oceanic 815 on a deserted beach, were not p...

'LOST' Recap: 'What They Died For'

5/19/2010 11:58am EDT
Lost - What The Died For
This is the last week of LOST. After Sunday, there will never be a new episode of this gripping, incredible show again. They are going out on their terms, and it is difficult not to be emotional about it as a long-time fan. Last night was the final time LOST would air as a regular hour, and it set up things nicely for the two and a half hour series finale on Sunday. So let's look at the last normal episode of the best show on television, titled "What They Died For."

They start right out being mean and showing Sun, Jin, and Sayid dying again. Like we ever needed to see that heartbreaking ho...

'LOST' Recap - 'Everybody Loves Hugo'

4/14/2010 2:31pm EDT
One of the best parts about a show like "LOST" is that even after years, fans still remember the details. For example, it may have been the end of season two when Michael shot Libby and Ana Lucia, but in season six this horrific act of betrayal is still very fresh to LOST fans. Michael tried to seek redemption in season four by going on the freighter back to the Island, and once he accomplished what he was meant to, he died in the freighter explosion. Now it seems like Michael didn't really get the redemption he's looking for, because he's still stuck on that damn Island ... this time as a ...

LOST Recap: 'Sundown'

3/3/2010 12:05pm EST
The amusing part of LOST right now is that they really aren't giving fans any major answers yet, and still when they have a brilliant episode it doesn't really matter to anyone. They can confuse us all if it means Sayid being a crazy badass for an entire hour. Sayid's had a rough season or so. He reunited with his beloved Nadia only to watch her die in front of him, and then he became an assassin for Ben. When he realized what a crazy thing it was to fight for Ben, he found Little Ben in the Dharma and shot him, thus probably sending the creepy kid on his path to becoming a very creepy adul...

TV Stars Who Deserve Emmy Nominations On July 17, Part 1

7/8/2008 11:55am EDT
Boston Legal
Last week, I helped the Emmy panelists decide upon which series to cast their vote for, and now it's the actors' turn.

The Emmy blue ribbon panel received a group of lists from the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences last week. These were top ten lists from which they were to select the five nominees for the big Emmy show. They will view select episodes from each nominee and base their decision on what they see.

It's nigh on impossible to glean an accurate impression from a small sample, especially when it comes to acting. Many characters are given complex arcs from which the...

Our Favorite TV Ensembles

6/12/2008 9:00am EDT
An ensemble cast is a group of actors in which each character/actor is assigned an equal level of importance to the story. Sometimes even if there is an established "main character," a show can be considered an ensemble because individuals are treated with the same care and development as everyone else on the show.

This sort of cast style gives the audience a chance to connect with several different characters rather than just one; if a viewer does not like one of the characters or cannot relate to them, there will be several more to choose from. It creates very broad storylines and v...

As Usual, 'Lost' Brings Up A Lot Of Questions

2/18/2008 12:33pm EST
If "Lost" fans have not heard the good news regarding the writers' strike they must be living under a rock because the writers are back, baby, and with them they bring up to five new episodes of our favorite mystery Island. It will fall short of the originally expected 16 episodes, but 13 is better than eight. With that in mind, let's talk about how utterly stunning last week's episode, "The Economist," was.

A new member of the Oceanic 6 has been revealed, and it is no other than our "Rambo of the Losties," Mr. Sayid Jarrah (Naveen Andrews). He does make it off the Island, and unlike ...

'Lost': The New Cast Is Amazing & We Want To Know More

2/11/2008 11:34am EST
One of the greatest difficulties of the highly popular series "Lost" is keeping the fandom and the momentum going upwards rather than losing steam halfway through the series. There have been episodes that sputtered out, yet there have been others that shone as a beacon of genius no other show could compare to.

The first and second episodes of the fourth season are far closer to the latter. "Confirmed Dead" is the most recent, and its flashbacks include the four people from the boat who have come to 'save' the Losties.

This episode we see the point of view from the real world when...

'Lost' Recap: The Season Promises To Be Faster Paced, Brutal & Desperate

2/1/2008 11:37am EST
The most innovative show on television is back with a vengeance, and it is promising to be better than ever. "Lost" is one of the few that always delivers, and although what it delivers is not necessarily answers or explanations, it does keep us hooked, fascinated, and emotionally invested.

This highly anticipated season four premiere was named "The Beginning of the End" in reference to Ben's (Michael Emerson) comment to Jack (Matthew Fox) that it would be the beginning of the end if they called the believed rescuers. Never had the dangerous, manipulative leader of the Others seemed s...

Naveen Andrews of Lost Reveals Love Child

1/10/2006 9:54am EST
'Lost' star Naveen Andrews has confessed to fathering a love child. The heartthrob actor - who plays Iraqi soldier Sayid Jarrah in the hit TV drama - has admitted the child was born after a short encounter with an unnamed woman last year. The baby was reportedly conceived when British-born Andrews split from girlfriend Barbara Hershey for a "brief period".

The 35-year-old actor, who has been nominated for a prestigious Golden Globe Award for his role on the show, only recently discovered his fling had led to the birth of a baby boy - but plans to take responsibility for the tot.
