Jada Pinkett-Smith showed off her toned body in a bikini by posting a picture of herself enjoying the crystal-clear waters of the Dominican Republic on Saturday.
"To my Forty and over crew! Don't believe the hype...we DO get better with age!" she tweeted.
The star, who turns 41 in September, was recently interviewed in the June issue of Essence Magazine and shared how she keeps herself in such great shape.
In addition to yoga, martial arts and boxing, she says her diet is also a big contributor.
"I eat for my schedule so I have to eat high-protein," she says; "lots of greens and healthy carbs so that I don't fall flat on my face."
She also learned not to pay too much attention to the way food tastes, thanks to plenty of not-so-tasty meals she had growing up.
"I probably had the only West Indian grandmother that could not cook," she says. "She was an awful cook, and she taught me that you don’t eat for taste, you eat for nourishment. And I have kept that over the years, so I can eat anything that's healthy."
She adds, "I eat for my schedule so I have to eat high-protein, lots of greens and healthy carbs so that I don’t fall flat on my face."
Earlier this year, the star, whose TV series HawthoRNe was canceled after three seasons, announced that she's teaming up with The X Factor's Simon Cowell to launch a new reality series to find the world's best new DJs.
Cowell has reportedly been trying to develop the series for over a year now, but no further details have emerged as of yet.
